FTTH FATB Access Terminal Box

Indoor Fiber Access Terminal for FTTX Networks
1/2 core, SC/LC(Duplex) Connector

Contact Now

The FATB (Fiber Access Terminal Box) is an indoor wall-mounted terminal designed for FTTH/FTTX network deployments. This compact terminal box provides a secure connection point between drop cables and optical network unit (ONU) devices at subscriber premises.

Available in 1-core, 2-core, and 4-core configurations, the FATB supports multiple connection methods including fusion splicing, mechanical connectors, and fiber management cassettes (FMC). The ergonomic design with transparent protective cover and vertically oriented fiber ports ensures safe installation and maintenance access.

Key Features

Safety-Focused Design

Transparent plastic cover provides visual access to internal connections without requiring opening. Vertically downward fiber ports minimize risk of accidental contact or personal injury during operation.

Flexible Cable Entry

Multi-directional cable inlet options accommodate various installation scenarios including wall routing, ceiling drops, and floor conduits. Supports both flat drop cables (2.0 mm × 3.0 mm) and round cables (Φ5 mm to Φ7 mm).

Multiple Connection Options

Supports fusion splicing, mechanical connectors, and FMC modules, providing installation flexibility based on available tools and technical requirements. Compatible with SC and LC adapter types in UPC and APC polish configurations.

Professional Appearance

Clean white finish integrates seamlessly with residential and office environments. Compact dimensions (86 mm × 115 mm × 23 mm) minimize visual impact while maintaining adequate working space for fiber management.

User-Friendly Interface

Clear markings and organized internal layout prevent installation errors. Plug-and-play fiber connections can be serviced without removing the terminal from the wall.

Wide Operating Range

Functions reliably across temperature range from -25°C to +60°C with humidity tolerance up to 93% at 30°C. Suitable for indoor installations throughout Pakistan’s diverse climate zones.

Installation Advantages

Low Construction Cost

Compact design and straightforward installation reduce labor time and material costs. Wall-mounting system requires only basic tools and standard anchors.

Multiple Entry Points

Flexible cable entry positions accommodate various building construction types and cable routing scenarios without requiring adapters or modifications.

Protected Fiber Management

Internal fiber management maintains minimum bend radius requirements automatically. Organized routing reduces risk of fiber damage during installation or service calls.

Clear Documentation

Internal labeling and organized layout facilitate correct fiber identification during installation and future maintenance activities.

Quality Standards

Material Compliance

ABS and polycarbonate materials meet UL94 flammability standards and are RoHS compliant for environmental safety.

International Standards

Design and construction comply with ITU-T L.51 recommendations for optical fiber cable distribution frames and IEC 60529 ingress protection standards.

Performance Testing

Each terminal box design undergoes testing for mechanical strength, environmental resistance, and optical performance to ensure reliable field operation.
